[ one morning, lumine will come upon a carefully arranged basket of goods on her doorstep. peering at the contents will reveal a smattering of the following: a bag of maple hard candies in the rough shape of birds, several packets of handmade maple sugar (stamped with what appears to be a sweet flower), and a bottle of maple wine.
if she goes to pick up the wine bottle first, she'll also find a sachet of dried basil sprigs and flowers (good wishes) looped around its neck. the twine holding it in place is delicate and golden, almost as if whoever left it here was very particular about the incorporation of certain color sets.
